What is the vital substance bar?

The vitelements vital substance bar is a nutrient bar that provides your body with all important proteins, carbohydrates, fats, mineral substances, trace elements and vitamins. Based on ingredients from organic farming, they cover your daily nutrient needs for an active metabolism.

How does the metabolism treatment work?

The metabolism reset is a 7-day diet course. In this period, the bars replace the complete meals and are eaten every 1.5-2 hours, in combination with 2-3L per day. The number of bars to be eaten per day is based on the individual need – which depends on the gender, age, size, weight and activity.
As the nutrient bar cover 100% of the daily nutrient needs, the body does not switch to emergency mode and no hunger pangs arise.
The result: After only 3 to 5 days, a complete reset of the metabolism into fat-burning mode starts happening. Study results confirm an effective weight loss of 2 to 4.5 kilos in this week.

What happens after the metabolism reset?

After the 7-day metabolism reset, the stabilisation phase follows, which can last from 6 to 8 weeks according to your desired weight. In this phase, the vital substance bars are an alternative for the breakfast, lunch or dinner on the meal plan. This will let you hold or reduce your weight, according to your individual goal.
After achieving the desired weight and continuing a healthy and balanced diet, the regular monitoring of the weight and body fat is important. If fluctuations start occurring or you put on more than a kilo, a “bar-day” should be introduced again, on which all or at least two of the daily meals are replaced by
vital substance bars.

Tips for a successful metabolic treatment with our vital substance bar

  1. Your success is your motivation and the scales are your friend. So weigh yourself before and after the metabolic treatment.
  2. Drinks lots of fluids! You can drink water or unsweetened herbal or fruit tea with each bar.
  3. You can replace 2 bars a day with a vitelements Drink or a vitelements Choc bar.
  4. Spread out your vitelements every 1-2 hours over the course of the day, with the last one no later than 9pm.
  5. Moderate exercise, such as lightfitness classes, cycling, or walking is allowed a maximum of 2 x a week.


1. How much should I drink per day during my 7DMR?

At least 2-3 l of water or unsweetened tea per day. Alcohol and sugary drinks are taboo.

2. Why should I eat vitelements every 1.5-2 hours?

To avoid low blood sugar i.e., to prevent your insulin level going up and down like a rollercoaster. By regularly consuming 125 kcal, you stay under the sensory threshold for insulin. You won‘t feel hungry and can burn fat at all times.

3. Is there a yo-yo effect?

No, your metabolism will stay the same because your body will be getting 100% of all the important nutrients.

4. Are there any contraindications for vitelements?

– Allergies to the ingredients of the vitelements e.g. nuts or egg.
– The bar is generally suitable for diabetics. However, we explicitly recommend discussing the 7DMR with your doctor first.
-Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not undergo a pure 7DMR, as mothers have an increased energy need during this time.

5. Can I eat light products?

That would be counterproductive because the chemically processed sweeteners in these products promote cravings.

6. Why can digestive problems occur?

The very high-fi bre bar can increase stool bulk. So increase the amount you drink to more than 3 litres and get some exercise.

7. What should I do if I‘m hungry and have already eaten all my bars for the day?

If you get hungry following strenuous strong physical activity or training, we recommend an additional Metabolic Drink.

8. What should I do I‘m not hungry anymore, but haven‘t eaten all my bars for the day yet?

Eating too few calories reduces the basal metabolic rate your body needs to function. So you really should eat all the bars.
